UNPROTECTED SEX
Anthony Starr joined Annie Gunn on the deck at Cobbleheads.
"I'm a decent guy, but I have too many vices," said Starr.
Gunn downed her drink.
"I'm looking forward to dying," she said. "I never like getting up in the morning. My spirit isn't of this world."
The night was crisp.
"What about your son?" asked Starr.
"He'll reunite with me."
"I'm a person of this world," he said. "I'm looking for that woman who is going to fulfill me physically.
Starr lit Gunn's cigarette.
"During Charro Days a musician asked me if I believed in casual sex," related Gunn. "I told him that I had had casual sex on numerous occasions, but I wasn't going to have casual sex with him. What an ass!"
Starr agreed that he had heard better lines. Later that night at his apartment he asked Gunn if she hadn't felt paranoid about having unprotected sex.
"I've told you how I feel about life," she said.
