DR. POLYPHEMOUS PANGLOSS

I am very disappointed to report that numerous physicians are infuriated with me because of my comments about negligence and incompetence in the medical community. As or result of my criticisms, they are threatening to boycott the ceremony at Cobbleheads in which the South Texas Independent Journalists Association (STIJA) is honoring me as its Doctor of the Year.

I'm sorry if I have offended anyone, but I find physicians enriching themselves at the expense of dead patients, even if they are only poor and ignorant Mexicans washed upon the shores of the Rio Grande, morally reprehensible.

The medical board met earlier this week to discuss if I had broken confidentiality laws with my scathing commentaries about local hospitals, doctors, nurses and administrators in the blogs. For the record, I submitted my criticisms to The Brownsville Herald initially, but they refused to run my denunciations.

As I have said before and I will say again: The Brownsville medical profession perpetrates crimes against humanity. Drunk doctors kill patients and then blame their failure on their sick patients. The system is staffed with mercenaries who have no commitment to the community. They could care less about the suffering masses in their native countries. It's all about money.

In Brownsville nobody is more shortchanged than the BISD. Its employees are paying first-class prices for Third-World care. I will hold local doctors accountable. They can go fuck themselves because I am tired of them fucking the good people of Brownsville.
