To Kali,

the Hindu goddess

of sex, desire and death:

After becoming

an adulteress,

you deserted me

and took my children

in order to give yourself

to so many men,

so freely,

so easily,

so despicably,

so dastardly.

I sit by the River Ganges

and my tears flow

into the sacred waters.

In the universe

karma is king.

One day you will pay

ten-fold

for the suffering

I am enduring

now.
