SIN LEADS TO SALVATION

A border politician strolls into a gay club with his latest lay. They dance while teachers dressed as transvestites entertain the writhing and gyrating throng. The politico escorts his woman into the lady's bathroom where they snort cocaine.

Wild with desire and pulsating with passion, they cram themselves into a stall where they fuck savagely. For decades they have given themselves to vice and have never overcome their addiction for the mind-warping moment. Nor do they desire a different existence.

A twice-divorced secretary, her three children at home under the supervision of a thirteen-year-old neighbor, observes the scene with horror. Not even the Xanax she took before departing her house or the three margaritas she has consumed since her arrival can steel her to the carnality and bestiality that both repulse and seduce her.

"I have never been so disgusted in my life," she tells a co-worker on Monday, her breath short with excitement.

Some find solace in the strange words of the Bible. Others find peace in a strange bed. We are all struggling for understanding. Who says that an individual who smokes too much dope, drinks a good wine and fucks every chick that walks can't be a great leader? I would follow a sinner to my own death. Saints, on the other hand, will lead humanity to extinction.
